Funny Christmas Pajamas and PJs, Now in Luxe Fabric

Christmas pajamas and Christmas PJs are the same tradition under two names, and we make both halves of it well: the funny adult sets that get worn on Christmas Eve, and the family versions where everybody matches whether they wanted to or not.

Our new luxe fabric

Six of this season's styles are cut in our new luxe fabric, and you can spot them by the “New Luxe Fabric” badge on the product card. We brought it in because the usual complaint about novelty pajamas is that they feel like novelty pajamas — this is genuinely soft, with real weight and stretch to it. It's on the lapel button-up sets in three prints: Rudolph, Leg Lamp and Holly Jolly Ornaments, each in a men's cut as well — and the Rudolph lapel set runs all the way down to baby sizes, so a whole family can match in the good fabric.

Funny prints, adult sizes

Our women's Christmas pajamas and men's Christmas pajamas run XS to 3XL in the same prints, cut separately for each rather than sold as one unisex set. The jokes are ours — designed in-house, printed properly so they survive the wash, and pitched at adults rather than at what a department store thinks adults find funny.

Soft enough that you'll wear them out of the house

Even outside the luxe styles, softness is the thing we optimize for first — the brushed fleece feel is warm without being heavy, and the stretch means they move with you instead of twisting around at 3am. Fair warning: people do end up wearing these to the grocery store in December. As far as we're concerned that should be allowed for the entire month.

The whole-house version

When the photo matters, matching family pajamas puts the same print on everyone, and kids' and baby Christmas pajamas carry it down to the smallest sizes with snug-fit safety construction.

Fabric and care

A brushed poly-spandex knit that holds warmth without making you sweat, with elastic waistbands that keep their shape and buttons stitched to survive a decade of Decembers. Most sets are machine wash cold; a few styles are hand wash only, and the care note on each item says which. Free shipping over $75 and 30-day returns.

Two-piece or one-zip

Sweet dreams look different for everyone, so pick your format. The classic two-piece sets pair a matching top and bottom, which is the easy call if you run warm or want to wear the top on its own with jeans. The one-zip onesie is the full commitment: one piece, one zipper, nothing riding up. Either is a good decision at 10pm on Christmas Eve.

Matching, even if you're not the matching type

Plenty of couples who would never coordinate an outfit in public will happily match in pajamas, and honestly that's the loophole — nobody outside the house has to see it. Find her set in women's Christmas pajamas and his in men's Christmas pajamas, or go all in on the Christmas-card version with matching family Christmas pajamas and kids' and baby Christmas pajamas. Ditch the stiff formal holiday photo — everyone knows the best part of Christmas morning is staying in the pajamas.

Christmas Pajamas - FAQ
What are your Christmas pajamas made of?
Most of our Christmas pajamas are a brushed poly-spandex knit — a 95% polyester, 5% spandex blend that holds its colour and its shape wash after wash, with enough stretch to actually sleep in. Six of this season's styles are cut in our new luxe fabric, a heavier 90/10 blend that is noticeably softer and has more weight to it; you can spot those by the “New Luxe Fabric” badge on the product card. A few styles are made in a cotton blend instead, and every product page lists the exact fabric for that item. Kids' and baby pajamas are made to snug-fit safety standards, which is why they look closer-fitting than the adult sizes.

Do you have a Christmas pajamas in kids and baby sizes?
Yes, we do offer our Christmas pajamas in kids and baby sizes. We know how fun matching can be for Christmas - it helps you get into the holiday spirit! We continue to expand our kids and baby selection throughout every year, because matching with the kiddos can make any occasion all the more special! If you are looking for more than just Christmas pajamas in kids and baby clothing, you can find most of our selection for those sizes in our Halloween collection or Christmas onesies. Get your kids in on the fun!

What’s unique about your Christmas pajamas?
Every print is drawn by our own design team, so you will not find these prints anywhere else — that is the whole point. We start with the joke rather than the garment, which is why our prints read from across a room instead of being a small motif repeated politely. Most designs are made in men's, women's, kids', baby and pet sizes in the same artwork, so a whole household can genuinely match rather than approximately match. We also add new prints every year and keep the ones that work, so a set you buy this year is not orphaned next year. And because we make them ourselves rather than buying blanks from a catalogue, we control the fit and the fabric — including the new luxe fabric on the lapel button-up sets.

Where can I buy Christmas pajamas and Christmas PJs?
Here, in every size at once — which beats the December scramble through picked-over racks. Christmas pajamas and Christmas PJs are the same thing, so whichever you call them, you are in the right place. Worth ordering earlier than feels necessary: matching sets get bought in multiples, so the common sizes in the best prints go first.

Can adults and kids get the same Christmas pajama print?
Yes, that is the point of the matching sets. Most of our family prints run from baby and toddler through kids' sizes and up to adult 3XL, so a full household can match in the same design. Children's pajamas are made to snug-fit safety standards, which is why the fit looks closer on the smaller sizes.
