Position Overview:

Are you a “get your hands dirty” wholesale apparel sales person? Do you enjoy developing and growing business relationships with buyers and having a lot of fun in the process?

Tipsy Elves is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on, sales person to manage and grow our wholesale and custom apparel business. Candidate should have some retail sales experience working in a wholesale capacity. Existing relationships with apparel buyers or custom promotionalapparel consultants is a plus. Candidate will work within our small sales team and report directly to one of the co-founders. There is very high growth potential for a highly motivated and successful individual.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work closely with the sales team to conceive and oversee a comprehensive A-Z wholesale and promotional apparel sales strategy for Tipsy Elves – including sales, marketing asset needs, lead generation and execution.
  • Communicate and sell directly to all existing retail apparel buyers and promotional apparel agents.
  • Lead generation and new buyer identification and initiation.
  • Identify and attend wholesale and promotional apparel tradeshows. Visit top buyers to develop healthy relationships. Must be able to travel occasionally.
  • Plan logistics, props, etc for various trade show appearances.
  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure marketing assets are available as needed.
  • Sell sell sell.

  • Skills & Experience:

  • Candidate should understand sales within the apparel industry and ideally have some existing wholesale relationships.
  • Passion for the Tipsy Elves brand and an understanding of our brand and customers is a must. Selling Tipsy Elves needs to feel authentic to you personally.
  • A background in sales and the apparel industry.
  • Candidate should be extremely organized.
  • Candidate should have a solid understanding of the sales process and how different sized retailers work.
  • Optimistic, positive attitude. Outgoing, good energy and someone who is a team player and easy to work with.
  • Ability to adopt and grow the Tipsy Elves brand through increasing sales and Tipsy Elves product distribution.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and a driven, hardworking personality.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
